El Puerto
Geöffnet täglich von 20.00 h bis 23.00 h Long ago, during an election campaign, a politician promised the residents of this mountain village a sea port. Delighted with this idea, the ‘barbarians’ of Pitres immediately started planting sardines, proud to be the only people in the world to have a sea port at an altitude of more than 1200 metres.
‘The Port’ first opened for business in 1979. It was a bar and arts and crafts workshop in a house that was over a hundred years old.
In 1988 we opened the pizzeria and gradually introduced our own recipes, traditional dishes and international cuisine.
Nowadays restaurant ‘The Port’ is a safe haven in the same building as The Green Sheep. |
